Not Nice to Lice®

Not Nice to Lice® is a registered trademark of Safe Solutions, Inc.

Safe Solutions, Inc. produces the new formula Not Nice to Lice® for families in the United Kingdom and Lice R Gone® in the U.S.

About the change in formula:

Old Formula

Originally formulated as a cleaner, Stephen L. Tvedten discovered it could be used to control pests, including lice and nits and began patenting the process of using enzymes and surfactants to control pest problems.

Note:  The original Ginesis Not Nice to Lice was indeed an improvement over pediculicide (poison) shampoo, but it required 8 oz. of product and 30 minutes to remove lice and nits and cost was about $20 per treatment.  Because of the inherent problems with its manufacture, the mixture varied in composition and required an acid pH of about 3.5, and the results could and did vary.

New Formula

Note:  What was needed was an improved enzyme/surfactant formula.  The ingredients in the Safe Solutions are not determined by the whims of the "brewing" process, but are added individually guaranteeing a consistent product year after year.  This new formula has been lab tested for dermal and ocular sensitivity.  This new formula is FDA approved as a medical device and requires only about 1/2 oz. and 5 - 15 minutes to consistently* remove all lice and nits for about $1 per treatment, making the new formula the safest, most effective and most economical head lice treatment on the market today. Specifically designed to safely remove pests, including lice and nits.  Looks and smells clean.

*If you have used a pediculicide (poison treatment), dandruff shampoo or other chemicals on the current infestation, you may find even this new formula has difficulty removing all of the nits.  Please follow the label directions.

As of January 1, 2003 all individuals and/or companies in the U.S. using the Not Nice to Lice® trademark have been advised to cease and desist.  Any individual and/or company selling, advertising or distributing any product under the Not Nice to Lice® name is in violation of the copyright and should be reported to Safe Solutions, Inc.

On July 31, 2003, the developer received U.S. Patent 6663860 on the process of using enzymes as in Lice R Gone® and Not Nice to Lice®.  All individuals and companies copying this patented process have been advised to cease and desist.  Any individual and/or company utilizing this process in any product is in violation of this U.S. Patent and should be reported to Safe Solutions, Inc.
